New beginnings as C>Ways announce strategic merger with FourNet

Since we first set up C>Ways as a consulting team in 1997, I have had a single principle that if you trust your people, and deliver an honest and genuine customer experience, or simply put: “Do the right thing,” you will get on in this world. Andrea and I set up this business from that single “belief” and everyone that has come on the journey with us has adopted and embraced this, which has resulted in a business that has secured the livelihoods of more than 50 people over the 24 years it’s been in existence. This is something that we are both  immensely proud of.

The next stage of the development of our company requires investment; we need to be bigger, we need to offer our services in different ways, and we need to widen our marketplace. Finance alone will not deliver these things quickly, therefore we have taken steps to grow our business through a strategic alliance.

We have now reached a decision to strengthen C->Ways by becoming part of a larger company that some of you are already familiar with, FourNet.

For those that don’t know, FourNet are Manchester-headquartered contact centre and unified communications experts and they have made a significant investment in the future of the C>Ways business.

The integration of C>Ways into FourNet is one based on people and skills. As FourNet, we will form an Infrastructure and Security solutions offering not only to the original C>Ways customer base, but a wider client base within the FourNet customer community. This does several things: it creates possibility to scale Infrastructure solutions into a wider customer base; provides more product offerings to C>Ways customers and provides everyone in C>Ways with the opportunity to grow with a larger business.

The decision to bring C>Ways into the FourNet community is based on our people, skills, market understanding and credibility. As a business C>Ways will operate in a similar way as it does today, with the addition of some new systems to manage our sales, workload and finance functions. The plan is to extend our capability into the wider FourNet group in order to increase the services that FourNet supplies to its customers today. At the same time, opportunity to deliver new communications and security solutions to C>Ways current customers will become available.

Integrating what we do into a complementary organisation like FourNet, is a good fit.  FourNet want me and you, our people, for our knowledge, experience, technical skill, industry understanding and know-how. FourNet have very similar beliefs and culture; do the right thing, enjoy the work you do, be respectful and honest with your colleagues and your customers.

We all believe in trusted, nurtured and value add relationships and, by bringing the two businesses together, we not only strengthen this message and ethos, we create new markets for us all to grow our futures together.

This is the next step on C>Ways journey and I am excited to be taking this next step with all of you.
